An experienced midwife of 23 years that has worked across the scope of midwifery within tertiary, secondary and primary birthing facilities LIsa holds multiple representation roles in National forums promoting and advocating strongly for the voice of whanau and kahu pokai . Her passion has been creating safe spaces enriched with matauranga Maori and embedding this knowledge into the every day life of whanau which includes the creation of Kaupapa Maori antenatal and parenting education facilitating hundreds of wananga across the country. It is with this matauranga that Lisa can provide a space for kahu pokai to share, develop and thrive in their mahi in what ever capacity that looks like.
"Whether it is ā wairua, ā tinana, ā hinengaro the potential within you is limitless to excell as a kahu pokai.
