Mārama Advanced Level Practitioner

A reminder the Trustees and Council agree that long service Ngā Māia members may be considered Mārama - advanced level practitioners of Tūranga Kaupapa.  To facilitate tailored professional development, alternative pathways have been established.  Therefore, the team wants to invite you to apply - if your application is successful, you will be notified and the process explained.  You will also have access to all the Tangata Tiriti components for national consistency.  Please review the video for more information.

Moving forward, the three advanced pathways are:
1. Mana Whenua
The ten active rōpū may host their own Tūranga Kaupapa training for their members.  Each rōpū will need to submit an application, maintain an attendance register, and conduct a wānanga evaluation and practice reflection.

2. Mana Tangata
Individuals can apply to have their personal programme of study recognised by completing an attestation that demonstrates alignment with the Tūranga Kaupapa learning outcomes.  Evidence of satisfactory course completion and an attestation is required via the portal.

3. Mana Motuhake
Members can work collaboratively or individually to design practice-based solutions that align with the Tūranga Kaupapa.  They will present their project outcomes to their local rōpū.  Peer reviews and an attestation will be required for submission. Alternatively you may present directly to the Tūranga Kaupapa team at Ngā Māia.
