Enrolments are open for the next Ng? Manukura: Clinical Leadership Programme for 2025. There are 25 places available for each cohort!
Please enrol ONLY if you are willing to challenge yourself; open to new learnings and apply the learnings after the programme.
The Ng? Manukura: Clinical Leadership Programme has a strong reputation for contributing to building the clinical leadership capacity and capability.
For participants to be eligible to be considered for the programme, they must be:
- M?ori (whakapapa); and
- have a current Annual Practicing Certificate for nursing and midwifery; and
- have the support of your employer (if applicable); and
- committed to beneficial health outcomes for M?ori; and
- be open to learning; and
- committed to attending all four w?nanga; and
- committed to completing a group project outside of the w?nanga; and
- committed to completing the programme.

Ng? Manukura (Cohort 35) will be held at Wai Ora Training Trust, 48 Watsons Road, Harewood, in Christchurch.

Please note the first w?nanga for cohort 36 is on a Monday and Tuesday.
If you are eligible, the programme costs are covered. You / your organisation need to release you for the training days, support your travel costs, and contribute a small koha to the marae on the day of the powhiri as part of the powhiri process. (e.g. $10 - $20). If you are travelling more than 2 hours to the training, we recommend finding some accomodation the night before day one of each w?nanga.
The w?nanga consists of 8 days (4 x 2 day w?nanga)
Participants must be able to attend all of the 4 w?nanga for the cohort you enrol in.
Start times are 9am on the first day and work till late in the evening. Start again at 7.45am (or earlier) and finish at 3pm on the second day. We work through the evenings and participants are expected to stay at the marae or find alternative accommodation at your own cost close to the marae.
