In accordance with the Ng? Maia Trust Deed of Trust, please be advised that an election will be conducted to fill two (2) General Trustee positions for the Ng? Maia Trust.

These vacancies have arisen due to the resignations of Tawera and Dani.  For the interim, Crete and Janet have kindly served as casual Trustees in these capacities at the request of the Kaum?tua advisory.

Please note the following important details regarding these vacancies:

- As stipulated in section 3.2 of the Trust Deed, one nominee must be a Registered Midwife holding a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

- While the current board composition includes two members from Te Waipounamu, and therefore no specific regional nomination requirement exists at this time, the Trust wishes to encourage nominations from Te Waipounamu. Furthermore, nominations from individuals who can contribute a rural, consumer, or wh?nau perspective to enhance the diversity of our governance are also valuable.
