Further to our discussion at the Hui a Tau last year regarding a rebrand for Ng? Maia, we?re excited to let you know we?re underway!!

We are working with Oho, who are really experienced in supporting r?p? M?ori in refreshing their story, look, feel, and in our case, name.

The project will start with w?nanga, and there are three w?nanga options to register for:

1. North (Ng? Maia members from the North Island) - Monday 24th March 9-10.30am

2. South (Ng? Maia members from the South Island) - Monday 24th March 11.30-1pm

3. Wh?nau (those who have used the services of Ng? Maia midwives) - Friday 21st March 11:30-1pm

Each w?nanga has a capacity maximum of 8 participants, therefore please ensure you are available before you register, so as any free spaces can be filled.  It will be 90mins, online using Microsoft Teams, and there is no preparation required.  During the w?nanga, Rachel and Tabs from Oho will step everyone through a range of p?tai and ask you for thoughts, feelings, insights and reflections. Easy
