About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Midwife Manager (MM) to lead our Delivery Suite providing leadership, vision and focus to this integral part of the wider women?s health service in an acute setting. You will work in close partnership with our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical team and undertake staff management of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Care Assistants.
The role of MM is busy and varied ? the ideal candidate will be a solution focused person able to work with staff from a variety of disciplines and manage competing and conflicting demands.

Waikato Hospital Delivery Suite is a tertiary unit which has 4500 deliveries per year, both elective and emergency deliveries.
