The Ng? Maia Trust, in collaboration with the New Zealand College of Midwives, is pleased to offer the Putea Rangahau M?ori Midwifery Research Grant to support Kaupapa M?ori midwifery research & its sharing across the profession. 

  

Purpose

The purpose of this grant is to provide an opportunity for M?ori midwifery researchers to share and present their knowledge across New Zealand and internationally. Recipients are required to present their research within New Zealand and at the Ng? Maia Hui ? Tau the following year.

  

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

Be registered midwives

Whakapapa M?ori (have M?ori ancestry)

Completed research to share

A total of $10,000 is available for this grant in 2024. The maximum allowance per participant will be determined based on the number of successful applicants.
