Change in contact details for supplier of interpreter services (Connecting Now)

Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora funds language interpreter services so Lead Maternity Carers who are funded under the Primary Maternity Service Notice 2021 (Section 94), can communicate with consumers and wh?nau.

A supplier of language interpreting services for patients and wh?nau, Connecting Now, has notified Health NZ of new contact details.

This notice does not apply to midwives or clinicians that work directly for Health NZ in public hospitals.

 

Please use these new contact details from now on.

• The Connecting Now phone number has changed to 0800 446 497
• The Connecting Now pin for use by LMC midwives has also changed. The new pin is 17050

 

You will still receive interpreter support if you do not know the new details, however Connecting Now may need to ask a few questions for invoicing purposes.

 

Please note, this pin is only for LMCs, who are approved by Health NZ to claim for language interpreter services.
