Perinatal Wellbeing Conference 

Thursday and Friday May 8th & 9th 2025

A 2- day Hui and Fono fused event 

at Papakura Marae

This transformative 2-day Hono brings together Social and Health professionals, Community, Consumers and also invite all who have a shared interest, to explore and strengthen culturally appropriate approaches to perinatal mental health. 

Rooted in Pasifika and Maori values, this event aims to build meaningful connections and share knowledge that supports the mental wellbeing of Pasifika and Maori mothers, Papa and their wh?nau.

An opportunity for Korero, Talanoa and Deep Listening around Perinatal Mental Health - Navigating the Va during and post pregnancy.

 

We have a range of speakers lined up with a Tangata Whenua focus

on the 1st day and Tangata Moana on the 2nd day.


Highlighting the voices of Maori and Pasifika lived experience, Consumers, Grassroots, Community alongside Researchers, Academics, and Health professionals with the aim that this conference brings the word

HONO - connection to life through our shared passion for this Kaupapa.
