We are seeking expressions of interest or nominations for the M?ori Co-Chair position of the Rural Midwifery & Maternity Chapter.


Our current M?ori Co-Chair, Kimai Cure, will be stepping down at the AGM on 30 October, marking the end of her term. We wish to warmly acknowledge and thank Kimai for her mahi, leadership, and beautiful commitment to advancing equitable rural maternity care and strengthening M?ori midwifery representation within Hauora Taiwhenua. Her contribution has been deeply valued ?


About the role

The Chapter Co-Chairs represent the Rural Midwifery & Maternity Chapter on the Hauora Taiwhenua Council, which reports to the Hauora Taiwhenua Board. Council meetings are held bimonthly, and the Co-Chairs work together to provide leadership, advocacy, and strategic direction for the Chapter.
